About the Public Hearing Process ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Boundary County Commissioners will hold an Appeal Hearing at 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 24th, 2016 in the Commissioners Office at the Boundary County Courthouse to accept public comment on a Conditional Use Application 16-040 by Clint Kimball representing Boundary County. This application deals with a request for gravel borrow operations to obtain landfill cover and winter traction sand for Boundary County. This request applies to Ordinance 2015-2 and specifically to Section 7. Conditional Use Permit. The Boundary County Planning & Zoning Commission will hold public hearing at 5:30 PM Thursday, May 19th, 2016 in the main courtroom at the Boundary County Courthouse to accept public comment on a Long Plat Application 16-078 by Tungsten Holdings. This application deals with a request to create a plat on parcel # RP62N01E220751A. This subdivision will consist of two lots. This request applies to Ordinance 2015-2 and specifically to Section(s) 11.3.7. Urban Subdivision. The Boundary County Planning & Zoning Commission will hold public hearing at 5:30 PM Thursday, May 19th, 2016 in the main courtroom at the Boundary County Courthouse to accept public comment on a Variance Application 16-079 by Daryl Thiel. This application deals with a request to split a 5 acre parcel from parcel # RP61N01E149000A. This request applies to Ordinance 2015-2 and specifically to Section 15.9.1. Standard Net Residential Density: Ten acres. In order to schedule a Public Hearing of the Planning & Zoning Commission, requests must be made prior to the fourth (4th) Thursday (4 weeks) in advance of the hearing date. For example, to schedule a hearing for September 17, 2015 an approved request must be received prior to August 20, 2015. The deadline for written comment and material is 12 noon one week prior to the scheduled hearing date. Written comment may be mailed to: Boundary County Planning & Zoning, PO Box 419, Bonners Ferry, ID 83805, faxed to (208) 267-7814 or emailed to planning@boundarycountyid.org. Written comment will be accepted at public hearing provided the material is read into the record. There may be a five (5) minute limit per person on verbal testimony. Further information is available on this application at the Planning & Zoning Office, room 16 of the Courthouse, and the application is available for public review.
