1400 Hrs. (2:00 P.M.) Re: Kootenai River Information (Boundary County) Water level is continuing to
ise and predicted to peak Sunday (6/11/06) in the afternoon. This does not
mean that water is predicted to go over the dike/levee. Currently water level is
forecasted to be below flood stage level. The Army Corp of Engineers
is continuing to place rock on the north side dike/levee in Bonners Ferry. The
Army Corp of Engineers is working with local officials to provide technical
assistance.
